So I having been seen a lot of complaints in the forums about the game. Especially with the thread I opened a while ago (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Discussion-Your-Main-Issues-With-The-Game/first).
So I have been thinking here all of you can post any problems and ideas to fix it or just any new cool idea (not related to anything) that you can think can improve the game. It could be from any part of the game from cool QoL ideas, New event/Meta event to even Professions skills improvement, and ect.
Mine are:
Gem Store Overall:
REMOVE BLACK LION TICKET AND JUST MAKE ALL THE SKINS IN THE GEM STORE FOR A FIXED AMOUT AND NOT SOME RANDOM BS WITH BLACK LION CHESTS AND KEYS.
Remove the rotation on the skins of any kind and just put every skin that is a available in the gem store always there.
Please don’t make anymore outfits, I really don’t care for waiting little longer and pay more for a armour skin then a factory clone everybody looks the f—-ing same outfit.
Make a option to buy a specific armor piece insted of buying the full armor just to get a specific piece (make it that if full armor set cost like cost 800 each armour piece will cost like 200).
Make all the skins account bound and remove all the skins from gem store from the AH (I am gonna get alot of hate out of it).
And I you think that won’t work, just look at games like League of Legends you as a player have all the options left for you to buy whatever you want, and it a free to play game with ALOT OF INCOM.

Decorations for Home instance:
We have scribing already so why not let us have the option for that, we don’t use the home instance for anything this days except daly nodes farm.

Story Fractals / Mini Dungeon that relate to the overall main story we have at the time they come out:
I really love the way the dungeon work with there storytelling, for me it a really enjoyable way to experience the game. You participate in the main story but from different perspectives, raids do this these days but really little. I really hope there would be a 5 man mini dungeon in the future/ or a changeable fractal that change with the main story.

My suggestions:

Cosmetic:

Lock current armor skins so that currently, those released, remain so for the current races and games and mix an matchable but those are the remaining skins outside of individualized helmet, gloves and back skins that are released through various means (in-game and gem store).

Improve the outfit system to allow players to hide shoulder and gloves along with the helmet. Hiding gloves or helmet allows you to either make the outfit part invisible or replace the helm/gloves with what you’re currently wearing. With the release of more outfits and helm/glove/back skins and perhaps adding extra dye channels for outfits to better control how the outfits are colored, this will improve the overall customization of outfits while limiting the work required that armor pieces would need. Coupled with just plain racial/gender specific outfits completely designed with that race/gender in mind instead of force-spreading them, you alleviate the artists’ burden in designing gear that actually looks good vs making armor that ultimately looks nice on one race, bulky and uninteresting on another or just plain bad because of rush work.

On top of all of that, now you can apply more focus on animation, particle effects and model of the characters and weapons! So add more races! The difficulty then leans on creating story and recording voices for the new races. I’ve got no suggestions to make this easier to accomplish. But regarding story, it isn’t necessary to create a specific city or leveling area for new races. Elements of the already existing game can be used for this and choosing specific story elements at character creation can determine where you start, what level you start at and ultimately how your story unfolds and blends with the current world. The important part isn’t the city or conforming to the base mechanics but rather telling a compelling story! But if a new city is going to be introduced, it’s not necessary for said city to be a city specifically for a certain race, just any race.

If such alterations were made, you might see more outfits, more races, more story threads expanding on the story’s scope and more interest in the older areas.

Races:
To start, the obvious choices of additional races would be Tengu, Kodan and Largos. Later neat additional races could be Skritt and Hylek. Difficult additional races would be Centaurs, Quagan and Krait. With the limits of armor being locked to the original 5 races, it won’t be necessary to revise all the current outfits/armors to the new races but instead create and utilize new outfits that are unique (figuratively) to each race. It might start out that the newer races have fewer options to start but this can change over time. (FYI, armor still functions the same for the new races, they just don’t have any visual impact as they are covered by outfits/special helm/glove skins).

Instanced Content:
Either improve on the current instanced content and/or create more! While open world stuff is great and we need more of that too, there is certain advantages to instanced content as well! Also, vary group size for these contents.

Random:
Would be nice to see my other characters in my home instance and I could talk to them. Maybe check their inventories, take/give stuff to them or give them off-screen tasks to do so I have more stuff to talk to them about. Loot can be involved, if need be.

My biggest wishes right now are:

1.) A more robust LFG tool that makes putting together PUGs less of chore.

2.) More ability to customize the home instance along the lines of the guild halls.

Mounts, templates, room, more skills, more weapons, stop tampering with keeping old items valuable and focus on correcting market by adding new items, and a ff14 class changing system because unlike race you class is meaningless in regards to the story.

Also season 1 so people can get more backstory on some of these characters were supposed to care about and of course balancing and making all skills usable underwater.

Seperate the esport and raising mentality from the rest of the game. Players don’t need simple easily recognized small esports ready builds or narrow one trick/task raid builds being the driving forces for the game it just makes for a toxic community.

Oh and clone death returned because it’s a really bad sign when an entire class mechanic is gutted from any game.

This here!
We should make a banner or a permanent sticky out of it and every poster should include this paragraph before their intended message. At least until ArenaNet hears us out and stops making changes to the game, for everybody, because of esports catering.

First of all, I don’t know what are you talking about, nothing wrong with the title. O.o
Second, I think that they should also improve the tutorials in this game. Hell I didn’t know anything about any finisher, leap or blast till I was 80 and someone did a mini tutorial to me and helped me improve my gameplay and profession skill.
Wooden Potatoes – Suggested in his stream yesterday on how to improve the tutorial and I completely agree with him.

Dude what are you talking about, where are you getting this information?
Normal armor set at the gem store now cost 800 gems, it is alot of work but compare to the outfits it only cost 100 gems less. You really think that Anet will post that armour at that price if they didn’t made money of it?
Second it will never cost that much becuase nobody will buy it, when you sell those kinds of things it’s a question of quantity the more you sell the more you earn. Even if they lose on the first 200 they sell, from there on out it pure profit. The different between this and normal IRL clothes is that it cost you X amount of money to make every clothes that your sell (because of the fabric cost and men/machine working on making that clothes) then you lose some money for every clothes you sell. But in here it cost you X amount of money to make at first, but after it’s finished it cost 0 money to make, because it a line of code that can be replicated without any cost. Meaning that from the X amount of money it cost the Dev to make the clothes(Working hours = money spent on that armour) it’s pure profit.

Yes that is true, but then they can go according to this metric noone wants armor skins in the gem store so we will not make any more period.
